Margaret Louise Cole

Margaret L. Cole passed away on March 23, 2010 at William Beaumont Hospital in Grosse Pointe. She was born at Harper Hospital in Detroit on May 23, 1931; daughter of Edward and Nellie (nee Rittenhouse) Harrigan. Margaret led an active life. She was a member of the U of M Alumni Association, past President of the Grosse Pointe Garden Center, and held many positions in Bon Secours Assistance League. She was a past President of the Bon Secours Nursing Care Center Auxillary, and an Alpha Phi alumnus. Mrs. Cole was proud of her sons William (Amanda), and Edward (Linda); and daughters Cathleen (Roger) Buell, and Julie (Paul) Braun. She adored her grandchildren Andrew, Elisabeth, Laura, Kristen, Caitlyn, Christopher, Eric, Karen, and Joseph. She was the sister of Mary Ann Boll, Kathleen(Peter)DeVine, and Karen Mourad. She was predeceased by her husband William A. Cole. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday April 9th at 10 am at St. Paul on the Lake Catholic Church, 157 Lakeshore Dr., Grosse Pointe Farms. Her family will receive guests at 9:30 am. Her cremated remains will be interred in the Church's columbarium.
