Margaret Dalzotto (a.k.a. Minnie, Margie) was called home to our heavenly Father on April 23, 2018. Margaret was married to her late husband Jack for 65 years. Although Margaret was ahead of her time in the 1940's by earning a business certificate in Stenography. Her family was the most important part of her life. As anyone that knew her, she would say "I HAVE THE BEST KIDS IN THE WORLD". (Her kids agree) Later when her grandchildren and great-grandchildren came along they captured her heart in a whole new way. Margaret was always busy doing her favorite thing, sewing! She made all her kids clothes, communion dresses and even her daughters wedding dress. Everything she made was perfect. She always said, "you should be able to wear something both inside and out." That is what a perfectionist she was. She helped support her family by working out of their home as a seamstress. Her sewing was taken to Rome, Italy by making the prototype of the new Habit to be worn by the Marist order of Sisters at St. Barnabas church. She was also known for dressing the Infant of Prague. She was also very proud of her house, and always made sure everything was in order and she was ready for company. Everyone knew that come summertime, sitting on the porch was her best time. She called it "her Cottage". All were welcomed to share "The Cottage experience". Crafts were Margaret's favorite way to spend her time. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and even ceramics. She was very good at sharing (teaching) what she knew and always offering suggestions to others as to what would be the best way to do things. Dolls were her favorite thing to collect. She accumulated well over 200 different dolls throughout her life! She also enjoyed going to the casino. She and Jack would go all the time. Once he passed, her kids were there to pick up the gambling habit with her. She also enjoyed going to plays, concerts, mostly anything that pertained to the Arts. Margaret is predeceased by her beloved husband of over 65 years Jack as well as her parents. She is survived by her children Jack (Karen) Dalzotto, Patty (Ken) Konarzewski, Jane (Al) Kemp, and Karen (Larry) Adair. She is the treasured grandmother of Jack Jr. (Heidi), Melanie, Jeffrey, and Ken Jr. and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation for Margaret will be at the A.H.
