

Mary Ann Cole passed away on May 30, 2020 at the age of 93 at Church of Christ Care Center in Clinton Township, Michigan. She had most recently been a resident at Shore Point Village in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.
She was born in Royal Oak Township on May 19, 1927 to Felix and Ann Mazzuckelli. She was the oldest sibling to Ruth and Bob. They each graduated from Hazel Park High School.
Mary Ann married Charles W. Cole on February 4, 1950. He honored their anniversary for the next 47 years by sending her a dozen red roses, her favorite. They had three children: Charles W. Cole, Jr. of Winter Park, Florida, Judith Ann Onorati of Sterling Heights, Michigan and Amy Beth LeFevre of Livonia, Michigan.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed bowling and golf. She loved to be active and continued participation on bowling and golf leagues until the age of 80. She took courses in interior design, cake decorating, and oil painting. She completed dozens of paintings, and participated in numerous art shows.
Mary Ann was a life long member of St. James Presbyterian Church in Detroit which merged with Heritage Presbyterian Church in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. She attended weekly and was actively involved in the church activities her entire life, teaching Sunday School for many years.
She is survived by her children Chuck, Judy, and Amy, and grandchildren Justin Cole, of Culver City, CA, Amanda (Onorati) Campbell of Lansing, MI, and Craig LeFevre of Livonia, MI. She is also survived by a great granddaughter, Beatrice Cole, of Culver City, CA, and her sister Ruth McIlvride of Hazel Park, MI.
She will be buried at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy, Michigan, next to her husband Chuck. There will be a small grave site visitation for immediate family only.
