Mary Alice English

ENGLISH, Mary Alice, 81, of Indianapolis passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017. She was born in St. Mary, PA on January 24, 1936 to the late Walter and Mary Kerchinski. She was a devoted member along with her husband at Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ Catholic Church in Indianapolis. Prior to living in Indiana she was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Wayne, MI. In her free time she enjoyed gardening and knitting. She also enjoyed traveling (two of her most memorable trips were to Hawaii and Europe.) She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond Richard English; her son, Raymond Walter English (Jason H. Henry); her brother, Walter "Wally" Kerchinski; her three sisters, Betty Winkler, Alice Janowski, and Andrea Tatum. Mary is also predeceased by her sisters, Doris Kerchinski and Shirley Barbish A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday September 6, 2017 at St. Faustina Catholic Church, 14025 E. 12 Mile Road, Warren, MI 48088 where Mary will lie in state from 10:00 AM until time of Mass at 10:30 AM. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, MI. Interment Resurrection Cemetery Clinton Township.
