Mary Ann Hughes died April 14, 2015 at age 83, Loving wife of the late Leslie. Dear mother of Char (Haithem) Sarafa, Leslie, Eric and the late Gary. Grand mother of Vinnie, Nick, Andrew, Alexandria and Alec. Sister of Helen Doelle and Antia Myers. Mrs. Hughes was a teacher and Owner of the Grosse Pointe learning Center of Grosse Pointe Farms for 30 years. Education and teaching was her life. Her other passions were cooking, Reading and above all her grandchildren. She was a Graduate of University of Detroit. At present a private service is planned for a later date.
