

Maxine Mary Stuckey, age 80 of Warren, passed away February 4, 2019. She was born in Detroit on August 1, 1938. Maxine had a flair for the arts and a passion for music. She was a season ticket holder for both the Warren and Detroit Symphony Orchestras and had an exceptional record collection. Her thirst for knowledge led her to an 11 year career as a Teachers Assistant within the Macomb Intermediate School Districts. Also, later in life she obtained her Associates Degree from Macomb Community College where French became her sole language spoken in the house. Maxine and her husband enjoyed traveling, especially in the Upper Peninsula. Donald would fish and Maxine would scout out beautiful waterfalls. Maxine also enjoyed reading and playing cards. She also loved the Detroit Tigers; especially Harvey Kuenn. Maxine was very involved at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Her charitable nature was evident in her donations to various blanket and food drives as well as with her additional involvement in many other programs whenever she could help. Beloved wife of the late Donald. Loving mother of Stephen, Paul, Dennis (Katie) and the late Michael. Treasured grandmother of Emily and Eva. Maxines family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 12th from 2:00PM until 8:00PM with a Rosary 7:00PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile) in Warren. Instate Wednesday 10:30AM until time of Mass 11:00AM at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church, 31555 Hoover in Warren. Fr. Nick Zukowski will officiate. A committal service will immediately follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
