Mervin Steanhouse passed away peacefully at home on November 7, 2015 after a long battle with lung cancer. He was surrounded in his final hours by those who loved him. He is survived by his loving wife Cynthia, and their children Jenna and Alex. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Cora Steanhouse, as well as 4 brothers and 6 sisters (and Spouses) , Aunts Mrs. Ella (Ernest) King, Ms. Willie Mae Hunter and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in death by his father, Melvin Steanhouse, and his sister Barbara Young. He loved to work with his hands remodeling and fixing houses. He was a giving man who would give his last to help his fellow man in need. He was a wonderful father to his children. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. There will be a memorial service on Saturday November 21st, 2015. It will take place from 1pm to 4pm at Local 909 UAW Hall located at 5587 Stephens, Warren, Michigan 48091
