Dear father of Tracy Carlson (Steve), Suzanne Seitz (Corey), Sally Rothmann (Rich), Michelle Carpenter, and Michael Francis III (Jeannie).Proud and loving Papa of Kristin, Eddie, Stephen, Alex, Andy, Brendan, Michael IV, Caroline, and Danny. Brother of Suzanne Wrosch, Maria, Gasper, Sarah, and Steve. Visitation Tuesday 5-9 pm and Wednesday 2-9 pm with Scripture Service Wednesday at 7 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave. at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. In state Thursday 10:30 am until time of Mass 11:00 am at St. Paul of Tarsus, 41300 Romeo Plank, Clinton Township. Born in Detroit, Mr. Francis lived in Clinton Township for 17 years, prior to that Grosse Pointe for 20 years. A graduate of Servite High School, Mr. Francis went on to pursue a degree in accounting from the University of Detroit and a Masters of Taxation from Walsh College. He married the love of his life and recently celebrated 51 wonderful years together. There was nothing more precious to him then time spent with his loving wife, children, and grandchildren. Started in the basement of his home, Mr. Francis built his own accounting firm, Francis & Francis, which has been the family business for the past 45 years. A pillar of his community Mr. Francis volunteered his time at Angel's Place and the Beaumont Golf Classic where he helped fundraise for both organizations. He also served as President of the Roseville School Board. Mr. Francis was a well-respected man who was a great friend to many and selfless in his actions always putting family and friends first. He loved to play golf with family and friends, enjoyed shopping, and was an avid wine collector. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Angel's Place, 29299 Franklin Road, Southfield, MI 48034
