Michael Francis Lane, Sr., age 57, of Grosse Pointe Woods, died April 27, 2015 after a courageous 17 month battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years Kathleen (Coulter) and his cherished sons Michael Jr. and Matthew. Loving brother of the late Sandra (Gibson), John, Frances (John) Ottewell, Charles (Debbie), Ralph, William (Mary), and the late Timothy. He was loved dearly by in in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Mike had a life long passion for classic cars and is well known for his attendance at car shows and cruises. Visitation Friday May 1 2-9pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home in Grosse Pointe Woods. A celebration of life memorial service on Saturday May 2 11 am at Renaissance Unity in Warren, MI.
