Michael A. Luberto DDS

Michael A. Luberto passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at age 84. He was born in Detroit in 1934, and graduated from Grosse Pointe South High School, and the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Luberto practiced dentistry in Grosse Pointe. He enjoyed traveling, and spending time at his cottage on Lake Huron. He was a past President of the Detroit District Dental Society, and a member of the International College of Dentists. With that organization, he was a Past President Emeritus of their charitable foundation. Loving husband of Mary Kathleen Luberto. Father of Michael (Kelli), Donny (Carla), Robert (Susan) and Bill (Sabrina). Proud grandfather to Sara, Michelle and Dan Luberto, Jack and Sam Kingsley, Jordan, Matthew and Kendall Luberto, Amanda and Emily Luberto, Stephanie Hebden and Tori Lantzy. Great grandfather to Hailey Hebden. He is also survived by his sisters, Stella, Paula and Elizabeth and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Dominic and Frances Luberto. Visitation Monday 2-8 pm with Rosary 7:00 pm at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. In state Tuesday 9:30 am until time of Mass 10 am at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 467 Fairford, Grosse Pointe Woods.
