So sorry to read Michael's obit in the newspaper. I lived accross the street from him on Northlawn in Detroit. Michael and I played "chess" against each other on the front porch. Mike was a great and long time friend, going back to when our kids were growing up. Thanks for the great memories.

Mike was a great friend, teacher and mentor. He inspired myself and many other students to be the best professionals we could be. I am truly greatful that I had the opportunity to be a student of his and to benefit from his guideance. Mike has left an amazing legacy; a great family, a positive impact on our profession and an inspriation to 1,000's of students over the years. My favorite memory is attending a Yankees-Tigers game with Mike. During the game he talked about his love for his family, baseball and some stories from business years ago. I enjoyed every minute. I could always count on Mike for a Tigers update from his backyard to mine. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all closest to Mike. Joe
