Pastor Kenneth L. Hamilton

Pastor Kenneth Hamilton, age 75, of Warren, Michigan passed away May 9, 2013 at 10:25 pm at his home. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bettie Noel Hamilton; son, Steven and his wife Kristin of Center Line, MI; daughter, Kelli and her husband Vida Robertson of Houston, TX; eight grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters; one brother, Dr. James Hamilton of Covington GA; two sisters, Dorothy O'Grady of Muskegon, MI and Marti Bingham of Louisville, KY; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Todd; his parents David and Ola Marie Hamilton; his sister Catherine Smith; and his brother David Hamilton. He was a Pastor for 39 years. He pastored churches in Kentucky, Indiana and Michigan. He received a Bachelors and Honorary Doctorates degree at Midwestern Baptist College. He was a 1st Lieutenant in the Michigan National Guard. He taught Greek at Midwestern Baptist College for several years. He was a kind loving man and always smiling. His love for God, the Lord Jesus and the Bible surpassed all things. He loved family and was happiest when they were all together. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. at Masonic, Warren. Funeral Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 5:00 pm at the Antioch Baptist Church, 30590 Dequindre Road, Warren. Interment will be on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 11:00 am in Kirbyton Cemetery in Fancy Farms, Kentucky.
