Penelope P. Williams, age 93, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013. She was born to George and Christina Pappan on Friday, January 31, 1919 in Lewiston, Maine. Beloved wife of the late Philip for 37 years. Loving mother of Katherine (Dr. Harry) Kotsis, Georgia Williams (George J.) Carson, John P. Williams, Christina (Robert) Frederick, George P. (Anne) Williams and Dorothea Williams. Cherished grandmother of Rev. Fr. Nicolaos, Philip, Damian and Dr. Andrew Kotsis; Dr. John, Penelope and Philip Carson; Philip J. Williams, Alexia P. Vader, Andrea Smith, Stephanie Redcher, Melissa and Matthew Williams. Proud great-grandmother of 11. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 3:00pm untl 8:00pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave. at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. Trisagion 7:00pm. Instate Monday, January 21, 2013 at 9:30am until time of service 10:00am at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 21800 Marter Rd., St. Clair Shores.
