Phyllis R. Harville

Phyllis R. Harville, age 68, passed away January 12, 2018. She was born in Albion, Michigan on January 4, 1950; the daughter of Mylan and Carol Austin. Upon receiving her Bachelors Degree from the University of Detroit - Mercy, Phyllis went on to become a dedicated School Teacher. Teaching subjects such as English, Social Studies and Computer Science at St. Veronica Catholic Church in Eastpointe and then St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in St. Clair Shores. Phyllis enjoyed playing bingo and traveling. She and her husband, Tim, went on over twenty cruises and upon retirement, they took 9 weeks to explore Route 66 in its entirety. Phyllis adored her family. Each year, Phyllis and her six sisters would meet for an annual sister reunion. She considered them to be her best friends. She is dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Beloved wife of the late Tim for 43 years. Loving mother of Scott (Dee) and Brian (Julie). Treasured grandmother of Courtney (Kalen), Austin, Morgan and Mason. Cherished daughter of Carol and the late Mylan. Dear sister of Judy, Debbie, Vicki, Lynette, Cinda and Joy. Phyllis is also survived by many caring nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Phyllis family will receive friends for a memorial gathering on Sunday, January 21st from 2:00 PM until time of service 5:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile) in Warren.
