
FORD Ralph Edsel Age 88. Reunited with Phyllis, his beloved wife of more than 55 years, who preceded him in death, and late wife Dolly (nee' Ransom) on November 8, 2010. Proudly served as a B-24 co-pilot in the Army Air Corps during W.W. II in the European Theater, flying 30 missions over France and Germany from his base in Old Buckingham, England from July 1944 through February 1945. A member in good standing of the Free and Accepted Masons of Michigan for over 50 years. Devoted father of Douglas (Cheryl), Michael (Carol), Susan Mancani (Steve), Patricia Ruggiero (fianc Edward Kenny), Donald (Jolene), and Linda Ford (David Weber). Proud and loving grandfather of Claire Sitzes (Ed), Megan Ford; Jennifer Dillon (Dan), Danielle Ford; Michael, Sara (Kevyn Sawdon), Jason Mancani; Kati DiMarzio (T.J.); Melissa Holderread (Alan), Kevin, Michelle, and Olya Ford; Grace, Callie and Rose Ford-Weber. Dearest and loving great-grandfather of Christopher and Hannah Sawdon; and Dexter Dillon. Visitation at A.H. Peters on Friday, November 12th at 10:00 a.m. with visitation at 9:00 a.m. prior to the service.
