Raymond E. Hobson

Raymond Eugene Hobson was born October 10, 1951 to Eugene Hobson, Sr and Susie Mae Hobson who both preceded him in death. He was with the love of his life Sharman for over 40 years and they wed on October 26, 2010. She also preceded him in death. One brother Eugene Hobson, Jr. and one sister Lena Mae Hobson also preceded him in death. Raymond departed this life on July 12, 2021 at St. John Hospital.

Raymond obtained his education in the Detroit Public School System. He also worked for Ford Motor Company for many years. He was a loving husband, father, grand- father, brother and friend. Raymond enjoyed life to the fullest. His favorite hobby was the slot machines, and spending time with his family. He was always well dressed and always making people laugh, “A Joker”.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children Raymond Jr., Tommy, Staphon, Tyesha, Ramona, and Tamika. His grandchildren Ja’Van, Jaises, MaRayna, Jayden, and Porter. His 5 siblings Betty, JoAnn, Jimmy, Faye, Dorothea and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
