Richard Albert Larsen

Richard Albert Larsen BS, JD, age 86, died on Sunday, December 21, 2014. he was born on January 21, 1928 in Detroit, MI to Emma and Albert Larsen. He married his bride Betty on June 10, 1950 in Detroit, MI. They were blessed with two wonderful children. Richard was a magnificent man. He authored 10 books and a short novel and won several awards through the Danish Literary Society. He was a World War II Veteran, licensed pharmacist, Juris Doctor, a member of Toastmasters International, and a Senior Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for Merck. Richard is the beloved husband of Betty for 64 years. Loving father of Janis (Ken) Wasco and the late Eric (surviving wife Maria) Larsen. Cherished grandfather of Michael Larsen, Shannon (Jonathan) Stolter, and Lauren (Ryan) Dobbs. Great-grandfather of Crosby Stolter. Visitation Tuesday, December 23, 2014 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. at Masonic, Warren. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment service at Guardian Angel Cemetery in Rochester, Michigan will be private. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, or to the Wounded Warrior Project would be appreciated.
