Richard James Pastoria, age 78, died peacefully at his residence Tuesday, January 19th, 2010. Richard is an army veteran of the Korean War. He and Grace (NEE Giannosa) were married in June of 1957. They celebrated 52 years of marriage. Richard was a manager for Kroger Food Markets for 43 years and he retired in February of 1994 from the Grosse Pointe store. Richard is the beloved husband of Grace. Loving father of Patti (Mike) Scrivano and Jim (Kellie). Proud grandfather of Joe Scrivano, Danny Scrivano, Robbie Scrivano, Katie Pastoria, Jamie Pastoria, and Johnnie Pastoria. Brother of Anthony Pastoria. Funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd at Masonic, Warren. Visitation is Saturday, January 23, 2010 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
