Rita Fiori

Rita Fiori was born November 14, 1930 in Italy and entered into rest January 1, 2018 in St. Clair Shores, Michigan at the age of 87. Mrs. Fiori was a dedicated mother and committed to her Catholic faith. She also worked alongside her husband as a co-owner of an Italian restaurant in Detroit. Rita was the beloved wife of the late Pietro and loving mother of Rick (Debbie) and Delia (The late Radford) Hayden. She was the dearest grandmother of Peter, Andrew and Lisa and sister of Germio (Mary) Rossi and the late Mario (Joan) Rossi, Loretta and Helena in Italy and Joseph Rossi. Also survived by Gino and Anna Fiori in Italy and Giovannia Fabrizi in Italy as well as other deceased members of her immediate family including brother-in laws and sister-in-laws In Italy and many nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Italy. Visitation Friday 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods 48236. Funeral Saturday; instate 9:30 AM until time of Mass 10:00 AM at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 23401 E. Jefferson, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48080. James Commyn will be officiating. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan. Memorial Contribution may be made to St. Lucy Catholic Church or The Capuchins 1820 Mt. Elliott Street, Detroit, Michigan 48207-3485.
