Robert B. Danielson

Robert B. Danielson was born March 29, 1926 in Detroit and entered into rest February 20, 2013 at the age of 86 in Grosse Pointe Woods Robert was the loving husband of Myra for 62 years and dearest father of Dawn (Gary) Hill, Debbie Danielson, Denise (Steve) Chalmers, Diana (Jim) Brian, Donna Delia (Terry Somerville). He was grandfather to R. Travis, Erin (Nathan), Lindsey, Hillary, Carly, Tyler, Jamie and Jesse and Great- Grandpa to Joselyn, Logan, Leah and the late Alyssa. Robert was a World War Two U.S. Army Veteran. And was a avid sports fan who loved the Detroit Tigers, Lions and Red Wings. He played tennis, loved hunting , fishing and vacationing with his family in Northern Michigan. A real life of the party and jokester, he was nicknamed Friendly Bob. Robert's family was at his bedside along with his faithful dog Lacy when he passed away. Visitation Sunday 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods 48236. Funeral Monday ; instate 10:00 am until time of service 11:00 am at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 17017 12 Mile Road, Roseville 48066. Pastor Bob Johnson will be officiating. Burial will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery.
