Robert “Bob†Davenport, age 91, passed away on March 29, 2020. He was the adored husband to Phyllis Davenport (nee Pratt) of Windsor, Ontario. Bob and Phyllis raised three beautiful children – Joe (Laurie) Davenport, Aaron (Tara) Davenport, and Erica (Denis) Metty. He was the loving grandfather to Joey, Hannah, Lauren, Ethan, Michael, Claire, Abby, Olivia, and Jack. Dear brother to the late Bruce (Paula) Davenport.
Bob was a graduate of King’s College University in Toronto, Ontario. Later, he became employed at Purdue Frederick Pharmaceutical Company where he was employed for over 30 years.
He enjoyed fishing, curling, coaching hockey, and telling great stories. Bob’s favorite pastime though was spending time with his family, children and grandchildren.
Bob was always telling jokes, making friends, and genially a fun-loving good natured man. He will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236.
