Robert Alvin Kiess was born December 7, 1929 in Lycoming, Pennsylvania and entered into rest in Grosse Pointe Woods at the age of 84. Robert was the loving husband of the late Marianne and devoted father of Rebecca (Paul) Van Walleghem. He was PaPa to Sarah and Stephen and brother of William (Eloise) Kiess. Robert wad a huge Marathon Runner, a member of the Detroit Sports Broadcasters as well a Basketball Coach. His other accomplishments include being active member of the church, a lover of animals, especially his cats, an eagle scout and a YMCA Camp Ohiyesa Director.
