Grandpa had a wonderful sense of humor and faithfully served his Lord and his family all of his life. He was truly the patriarch of our family. His absence will be keenly felt at every family gathering from now on, but the profound influence he had on all of us will live on through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
I love him, and will miss him deeply, but I am comforted to know that he has no more pain or tears. He is with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and I am confident that I will see him again someday.
In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going. --John 14:2-4

My father was an amazing example and role model. He was always calm and peaceful, and had a very gentle spirit. At the same time, he was very humble and never wanted to draw attention to himself, only wanting all the glory to go to our Lord. He was the great patriarch of our family. Now with him departed from us, the torch is passed to our generation, and we must carry on as the spiritual priests of our households. I only hope I can carry the torch started by my father, by the grace of God, until we all meet again in eternity!

This week we lost a great yet humble man. He was a true example of what it means to walk in Christ. Dad you will be missed, but your legacy in Christ will live on.

My deepest heartfelt condolence to the entire family and Henry and I are lifting each of you in prayer. I loved the few times we were together over the years and especially the times we were able to sing the hymns of our faith!! Love and treasure that memory!!

Mr. Fuhrman was one of the nicest men I had the honor of knowing! I know you will all miss him. I will pray for your comfort and sorrow.

He was a true model of what a man should be: decisive and stern, yet incredibly compassionate.
He cherished his family and his faith more than anything else, and it's really thanks to his leadership that our family is so close.
He will be missed.

I've always been so proud to be the daughter of Ron Fuhrman! It would take me an entire page to list all of the qualities I love and admire about him. He was wise, intelligent, kind, thoughtful, witty, sensible, practical, logical, analytical, careful, and precise. He taught us how to make wise, logical decisions. Yet, he also had a wonderful sense of humor, and was so much fun to be around. We always had so much fun as a family! Most importantly, Dad was a sterling example for me of our heavenly Father. Dad was loving, patient, and merciful, but yet fair and just. Dad led by example. He taught all of us to love and worship his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, just as he did. Although I miss Dad so much, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I will see him in heaven, because in addition to accepting Jesus Christ as his Savior, he taught his family to do the same.
I love you Dad, and I'm looking forward to spending eternity with you!

I knew Ron Fuhrman in Bethesda Christian church. He was always kind and a gentle man. He was faithful elder of the church. Always in he place doing what the Lord wanted him to do. I was glad to have known him.

We love you, (Great) Grandpa! We know you are safe in the loving arms of Jesus. We will look forward to seeing you again one day!
