Ronald "Ron" Hill

Ronald "Ron" Hill was born January 13, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph and Marie Hill. He was a long time member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church and was very devoted to the parish for over 30 years. Ron entered into rest February 23, 2017 in Royal Oak, Michigan. Ron loved to work with his hands and could fix just about anything. Home improvement and D.I.Y projects were how he spent most of his weekends. Cars were something else he loved to work with. He loved his old cars, his 50's music and his Jukebox. He also enjoyed bowling and walking around the mall. Cooking was another specialty, especially making Kielbasa and other polish favorites. No one was immune to Ron's charm, he could make a friend out of anyone who crossed his path. He always had a story to share or a joke to tell. Ron leaves behind his wife Patricia of 57 years; his children Kimberly (Michael Sutter), Kelley (The late Andy) King, and Ronald (Paula). He was the proud grandfather of Ronald Jr. Courteney, Aubrey, Brandon, and Brittney. Dear brother of Sharon (Paul) Majeski, and the late Eugene and Elaine. Visitation for Ron will be Tuesday and Wednesday 2:00 to 9:00PM with a Rosary Service on Wednesday at 7:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. (at Masonic) in Warren. He will lie in state Thursday 9:00am until time of Mass 9:30am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 31555 Hoover Rd, in Warren.
