Sandra A. Norton

Sandy Norton passed away on February 18, 2018 at the age of 64. She was born on November 5, 1953 in Detroit, MI; daughter of the late Harry and Norma (nee Rottman) Grzadzinski. Beloved wife of the late James Norton. She is survived by her loving daughters Jennifer Nacy, Bonnie Norton (Jeff Cole), and Colleen Norton; her grandchildren Shelby, Brandon, Lily, Maren, and Sonia; her sister Nancy Thomas, brother Kenneth (Dina) Grzadzinski, and brother Jerome (Sharon) Grzadzinski. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Sandy was an exceptionally dedicated Mom and Grammy, as well as a caring sister, aunt, and friend. She worked for over 20 years at Family Practice Physicians in Clinton Township. Sandy had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. She also had a special place in her heart for all animals, but especially for her own rescue dogs and cats. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 21 from 3:00 until 9:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home at 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, February 22 at 10am at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
