Shirley Ann Newbold

Shirley Ann Newbold was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 31, 1939 the daughter of Ivan and Shirley Kittle. Shirley shared her life with Bill Newbold for the last 40 wonderful years. Shirley retired from a career as a social worker in clinic settings and private practice. Shirley was an enthusiastic genealogist and an avid reader of fiction, specially mysteries. In her spare time, she also enjoyed crocheting. Shirley was a longtime member of the National Organization of Women. (N.O.W). Shirley was the beloved wife of Bill. Dear mother of Bradley Oldenburg and Carrie Elizabeth Holladay. Loving grandmother of Matthew Oldenburg (Nicolle), Caitlan Oldenburg and Atom Chetcuti; also, the doting great-grandmother of Elliette and Emelia Oldenburg. Dear sister of Michael Kittle and Kathleen (Frederick) Strickland. Visitation for Shirley will take place on Friday May 10, from 2:00 pm until time of funeral service 7:00 pm at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road, Grosse Ponte Woods. The family has requested memorial contributions be directed to the National Kidney Foundation,
