Stephan John Kolasa

Steve was born on April 10, 1959 in Muskegon, Michigan to Donald and Ann (nee Clark) Kolasa. He was raised in Lincoln Park and attended Aquinas High School.

Steve worked as a printing press operator for over 25 years before starting his own printing company out of his garage, Extreme Graphics, in 2001. He retired in 2014.

Steve enjoyed going up north to their cottage on Au Sable Lake and spending time with his Au Sable Lake family. He also enjoyed fishing, boating, kayaking, and snowmobiling. Steve loved listening to a variety of music and having a good time with his friends and family.

Steve is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Staci; sister, Cindy Diemand; mother-in-law, Hedy Rewalt; sisters- in-law, Sandi Rewalt (Gary Galopin) and Shari Rewalt (Ed Aziz); and brothers-in- law, Scott Rewalt (Pam) and Steve Rewalt (Mary K). Steve will also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law, Dick Rewalt; and his loving dogs, Rocky and Kayla.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Steve at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Michigan Humane Society or Save Lake St. Clair.
