Teresa Maria Gentile

Teresa Maria Gentile, age 65 and long-time resident of Sterling Heights, passed away with family by her side on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. She was born on Saturday, January 3, 1953 in Sora, Italy; a small town in the province of Frosinone. She is the daughter of the late Santa (nee Di Poce) and Bernardo Palombo. Teresa is a long-time member of St. Malachy Catholic Church in Sterling Heights. She loved spending time with family and friends and especially with her grandchildren. Teresa was a well known cook and was often seen hosting numerous family gatherings. Beloved wife of the late Antonio Gentile for 31 years. Loving mother of Anna (Joe) Petruzzello, Liliana (Jonathan) Pena, Donato Gentile (Karen Abella), and Alessio Gentile. Proud Nonna of Antonio, Anna, Vincenzo, Isabella, and Luca. Sister of Lucia (Raffaele) Baldassarra, Francesco (Maria) Palombo, Antonio (Debbie) Palombo, and Joe (Susan) Palombo. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Friday, September 21, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. at Masonic, Warren. Rosary Friday 7:00 pm. Instate Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 10:30 am until the time of funeral Mass 11:00 am at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 14115 East 14 Mile Road, Sterling Heights. Interment will be held in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
