Theodoros Garbes passed away peacefully in the arms of his family on July 2, 2015 at St. John Hospital in Detroit at the age of 85. He was born in Episkopi, Ithaki, Greece on July 28, 2015; son of Vasilios and Eleni (nee Bouleris) Garbes. Ted immigrated to the United States in 1956. He married his beloved Eleftheria Katsimberis in 1965. They resided in Detroit until They bought their house in St. Clair Shores in 1972. Theodoros was a true family man and a dear friend that will be missed by everyone that knew him. He adored his wife Eleftheria and was proud of his son Bill and daughter Eleni. He adored his grandson Nikolas. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 until 9:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. Trisagion at 6:00 pm. Mr. Garbes will lie instate at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 21800 Marter Rd., St. Clair Shores. May his rest be eternal.
