

Thomas R. "Robin" Bishop passed away on Tuesday October 16 at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit with his family at his side. Robin was born in Chicago in 1942. He graduated Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania with a business degree and retired a successful automobile salesman, his legacy serving customers in local dealerships for over 45 years. Robin was an avid golfer, enjoyed reading spy and action novels, and solving a good crossword. Elmore Leonard was a favorite author. Robin regularly volunteered at St. Joan of Arc Church and with the American Cancer Society providing transportation to cancer patients to their chemotherapy treatments. He so enjoyed gathering with Austin High School classmates for lunch, and the opportunity to swap stories. Robin is survived by his beloved wife Margo, his dear children Tara (Terry) Ondusky, Peter (Barb), and Thom Jr. (Becky), and his loving grandchildren Karolynn, Kloey and Amanda. He will be missed by his extended family, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Charles and Blanche and his sister Emmy Murray. Memorial visitation Friday October 26 from 5-8 pm with Rosary 7 pm at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. Family and friends will gather on Saturday Oct 27 at 9:30 am until time of Mass 10 am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church 21620 Greater Mack, St. Clair Shores 48080. The family has requested memorial contributions be directed to St. Joan of Arc, St. Jude Childrens Hospital, or the American Cancer Society.
