Zofia Frydrych died on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the age of 94. She was born on April 3, 1921 in Poland. Zofia is a member of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church in Detroit, Michigan. She is a perfect homemaker who loved baking, sewing and shopping. Zofia is the beloved wife of the late Waclaw "Walter". Dear mother of Teresa (Pat) Ryan, Heidi (Dan) Mogielnicki and Jean (Courtney) Westerman. Grandmother of Janette Courney, Andrea (Dave) Piasecki, Monica (Aaron) Van Artsen, Joseph (Angelena) Riggs, Lisa Riggs and the late Jason Riggs. Great-grandmother of Andrew, Anthony, Alex, Nathan and Ariana. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, 3151 Farnsworth Street, Detroit. Family will greet friends and guest at the church starting at 9:00 am. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan. Memorial contribution in Zofia's name may be giving to St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, 3151 Farnsworth Street, Detroit, MI 48211.
