Betty Leona Tingler

Betty Leona Tingler, age 83, passed away at her residence on Sunday, February 19, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Hunter and Leona C. (Bapst) Swan, and brother, Raymond Swan. Betty is survived by her children, Raymond Gillum, David “Rick” Gillum, Dane “Mike” Gillum, and Tanya (Chad) Parris; grandchildren, Jarrett Gillum, Larrissa Kinser, Blake Parris, Dylanna Parris, Evan Parris, Tammie White, and Heather Zeuschner; great grandchildren, Emily White, Ava White, Max Zeuschner, Nolan Zeuschner, and Meryl Zeuschner; sisters, Sandra Strayer and Vera McCorkle, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Betty retired after 40 years of faithful service from Doctor’s West Hospital where she worked as the Patient Registration Coordinator. She enjoyed making her house look nice by planting flowers and tending to her flower garden, cooking meals for family members, reading books of all kinds, especially spiritual books, watching the History Channel and caring for cats in her neighborhood. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family and was very humble in her interactions with others. She will be missed by all who knew her. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY.
