Carole D. Shugg

Carole D. Shugg, wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, 87, of Grove City, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025. She was born December 13, 1937 in Oak Hill, West Virginia, the daughter of the late John and Lula Lizut. Carole retired after working for Big Bear Offices for 30 years. She had a passion for quilts and antiques, loved to shop, crochet and plant flowers. She also valued family and loved being around her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph M. Shugg and their son, Richard (Pam) Shugg. Survived by her loving children, Debbie (Greg) Lookabaugh, and Sue Tucker; grandchildren Tyler (Jamie) Van Dyne, Nicholas (Leslie) Van Dyne, Brent (Megan) Whitaker, Britny (Richie) Jackson, Brianna Tucker, Chastity Shugg and Joshua Shugg, great-grandchildren Sophia, Everett, Victoria, Elva, Marley, Lyla, Kelsey, Kaitlin and Audrey, sister Mary Lou (Buck) McDaniel, and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at SCHOEDINGER NORRIS GROVE CITY, 4242 Hoover Rd with Pastor Ed Linville officiating the service beginning at 11 a.m. and interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W Broad St, Galloway, OH 43119.
