Christopher P. Frase, 54, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, February 10th, 2024, at The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital in Columbus. Born on December 31st, 1969, in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of Paul and Emma Jean (Maynard) Frase. A proud Grove City High School graduate of the class of 1988, he continued his educational journey at Devry University, earning a bachelor's degree in business. After 20+ Years of employment at Marsala manufacturing, Chris joined his wife Julie in pursuing a career in real estate, and in 2021 became a real estate agent for Key Realty.
In addition to his father, Chris is preceded in death by many loving family members and friends.
Chris is survived by his wife of 32 years, Julie Frase; sons, Nathan (Desiree) Frase, Jordan (Alex) Frase; daughter, Miranda (Kyle) Bennett; grandchildren, Adam, August and Easton; in laws, Jack and Rita (Adams) Roese; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Chris was a beloved son, a devoted husband, a loyal friend and a wonderful father and grandfather. Larger than life in both character and stature. With an unapologetically authentic personality, an unfiltered sense of humor, and a heart that was truly made of gold, Chris left a lasting impression on anyone fortunate enough to know him.
Chris enjoyed many hobbies and interests throughout his life. He was an Athlete (Basketball), a sports fan (Ohio State Buckeyes and Denver Broncos), a member of the Elks lodge and Hilltop Sportsman's gun club as well as an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast. But even more than the interests themselves, his true passion could be found participating and forming relationships within the communities built around them. Above all the things from which he found joy in life, nothing made him happier than simply enjoying a good meal and a few cold beers in the company of the people he loved.
Though his early departure leaves behind a massive void in the lives he touched while here on earth, solace can be found in honoring the lessons and experiences his life bestowed upon his family, friends and the children and grandchildren he loved so dearly. His memory serves as a message and constant reminder of the profound love and happiness that can be found within life's most simple gifts and treasures. A legacy of enduring loyalty and friendship that shines light even in the most darkest of places, and transcends the finality of death.
Visitation will be held 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2024 at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., (HOOVER RD AT KINGSTON AVE), Grove City. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment Harrison Township Cemetery.
