Dana "Danny" Akel Patrick

Dana Akel “Danny” Patrick, age 67, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents, Akel and Ruby (Wright) Patrick, great nephew, Anthony West. He is survived by his siblings, Beverly (Dave) Stickel, Donna (Jim) West, Diane Patrick, Frank (Diana) Patrick, Peggy (Mike) Charback, nieces and nephews, Ian Stickel, Andy (Kelly) Stickel, Corey (Jacque) Pearce, Jamie (Dawn) West, Jeannie (Eric Walden) West, Joseph (Liz) West, Ben (Jamee) Patrick, Molly (Steve) Ryan, Megan Patrick, Brooke (Rich) Buzzard, Jordan Dodson, along with many great nieces and nephews, his special buddy and great nephew, Carson, special friends, Rory Squaric, and Brad Thompson. Danny was a 1974 graduate of Grove City High School and then went on to enlist in the Marine Corp where he served his Country during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed reading his bible, bird watching, playing solitaire, teaching his nephews to play chess. Danny was a very giving person who would give gift cards to people and also enjoyed saying prayers for people he knew and did not know. A visitation time will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 11-1 pm at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY 4242 Hoover Rd. (Hoover Rd at Kingston Ave.). A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 1:30 pm at Galloway Cemetery with Rev. Robert Tolar officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice. The family would like to thank Mt. Carmel Hospice for all of their care of Danny over the past few months.
