

Born April 25, 1931 to James and Kathleen (Mahoney) Regan, in Potsdam, NY, Edward was one of ten children. He was preceded in death by his parents; 8 siblings; his son, Kemper Regan; two grandsons; and his first wife, GayNell Regan.
Edward is survived by one brother, Vince Regan (Claire) of Massena, NY and his 5 loving daughters Katie (Mike) Ryan, Kerry (Darrell) Beck, Teresa (Troy) Ratchford, Rosie (Grant) Bell, and Elizabeth -Betsy-(Doug) McFarland; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; dozens of nieces and nephews and many cherished friends.
Edward was raised in Norwood NY on a large family farm where he took care of farm animals, crops and farmed for maple syrup until he moved with his brother, at age 16, to Tennessee. There he finished high school, met and married GayNell, joined the US Navy and was shipped out for the Korean War. After his Military Service, he was with Electrolux for over 40 years. He was sent to several states to open branch offices, hire salespeople and get those areas stabilized before moving on. This earned him the respect of colleagues and customers alike. After retiring, he continued his entrepreneurial spirit by opening Bethel Road Sweepers.
He was a devoted member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, where he served faithfully as a Knight of Columbus and an usher for more than 30 years. Edward was also a proud veteran of the United States Navy, honoring his country with steadfast service.
Visitation will be held from 4–7 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd. where his funeral service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 12 noon with Father Joe Yokum, officiating.
