Emma McKay Bailey

Emma McKay Bailey passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at age 18. She was born in Mount Vernon, Ohio on January 28, 2004 and was attending Odelha High School. Those who knew Emma knew of her lively personality which she sometimes expressed in the many different shades she would apply to her hair or her expert skillset in applying cosmetics. Emma loved to stroll through the metro parks and was an avid lover of animals, especially birds. One of Emma’s greatest achievements and favorite pastimes was being a mom.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ronald (Judith) Bailey, Clarence (Jean) Sutton, James Underwood, and Thomas (Candace) Miles.

She is survived by those who loved her most including her fiancé, Isaiah Flynn; daughter, Nova Ries Bailey; her parents, Candace (Kenneth) Sutton and Robert (Stacy) Underwood; father-in-law, Jason Flynn; mother-in-law, Sara Albertson; grandmother Linda Underwood; brothers, Joshua (Kristin) Underwood, Riley Underwood, Reid Underwood, Jesse (Alexandria Muncie) Bailey, Mason (Eva Oosterwal) Bailey; sisters, Chelsea (Nate) Hartzler, Alyzabeth Kane, Jessica (Hunter) Ebert, Alexis Underwood; brother-in-law, Noah Flynn, Joshua Becker; sister-in-law, Hannah Flynn; uncles, John Bailey, John Underwood, Cliff Sutton; aunts, Misty (Don) Vest, Amber (Gabe Lee) Vest, Jami (Troy) Schooley, Ruth Sutton; nephews, Riley Montgomery, Dominic Gebhardt, Grayson Underwood, Nash Kane, Jase Muncie; nieces, Annaquin Underwood, Lillie Keeton, Zoie Keeton, Rayna Muncie; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 3pm until 5pm August 10, 2022 at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Rd., Dublin where funeral service will follow at 5pm. Arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger Grove City.
