Jack Richard Cassell

Jack Richard Cassell, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. He was born August 30, 1935 in Columbus, OH. He was a graduate of North H.S. and earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska. He was a retired career U.S. Air Force Lt. Colonel and a Vietnam War Veteran. Jack was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Cassell; mother, Pauline (Bruckelmeyer) Alkire; wife, Lois Cassell; and son, Tim Cassell. Jack is survived by his sons, Mark (Lynn) Cassell and Gary (Carol) Cassell; daughter, Karol (Mark) Fox; grandchildren, Misty (Jason), Ashley, Matthew, Kyle (Brooke), and Rachael; great-grandchildren, Kayla and Samuel; and many extended family members. Family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., (HOOVER RD AT KINGSTON AVE), Grove City, OH 43123. A Memorial Service will be held at 4 pm on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Bethel International United Methodist Church, 1220 Bethel Rd., Columbus, OH 43220. Pastor Glenn Schwerdtfeger officiating.
