

Jennifer was born in Massillon, Ohio, to Thomas and Carolyn (Geis) Seemann. She was a graduate of Massillon Perry High School and Ohio University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. Jennifer dedicated 30 years of service to the Ohio Department of Transportation, retiring in 2020 as Deputy Director of the Central Office Division of Planning.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years, Scott Townley; her children, Erica (Zach) Sturm, Joshua (Kaity) Townley, and Rachel (Austin) Beckelheimer; and her cherished grandchildren, Gunnar Beckelheimer, Aiden Beckelheimer, Ellie Sturm, Lennon Sturm, Hudson Sturm, Oliver Townley, and Louie Townley. Jennifer is also survived by her mother, Carolyn Seemann; and her brother, Jason (Gina) Seemann.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Seemann.
Jennifer adored her grandchildren and took great pride in being the ultimate “Mimi.” She loved family vacations to the beach, family gatherings, floating in her pool, and spending time with friends. Jennifer was an avid fan of the Cleveland Guardians and Cleveland Browns, enjoyed online auctioning, and had a passion for home decorating. She was well respected, always had a plan, and was known as a dedicated daughter, wife, mother, and Mimi. A fighter and an inspiration to all who knew her, Jennifer loved life and lived it grounded in her unwavering faith in Jesus.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Road, where her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Lorrie Sturm officiating. Interment will follow at Grove City Cemetery West.
