Kay Burton

Kay was preceded in death by her father, James A. Burton, her brother, William “Bob” Burton, and her nephew, Zachary Burton. She is survived by her loving mother, Marilyn Burton; sisters Lisa Burton, Mary Burton, and Sarah O’Nesti; siblings Cathy Larkin and Marty (Hilary) Larkin; nieces Jennifer (Eric) Burton, Mardana “Lynn” (Tony) Richards, and Ivy Larkin; and nephews J.J. O’Nesti, Charlie O’Nesti, and Alex Larkin. She will also be missed by numerous friends and extended family.

Kay had a passion for music, with a deep love for artists like Pink Floyd and Prince. Her kindness, generosity, and sharp sense of humor were hallmarks of her personality, and she will be remembered fondly for the joy and laughter she brought to the lives of all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on December 5, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with the funeral service to follow at 5:00 PM. Both services will take place at Schoedinger Funeral Home, 4242 Hoover Rd., Grove City, Ohio, 43123.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Open Shelter at 1037 Parsons Ave, Columbus, OH 43206 or Our Lady of Perpetual Help in care of St. Vincent de Paul, at 3730 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
