Kenneth "Ken" Rutherford

Kenneth “Ken” Rutherford, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, gained his wings Saturday March 16th 2024, in his home town of Grove City, Ohio. Born to Earl and Frances Rutherford on February 27th, 1950 in West Virginia. Ken graduated from Franklin Heights in 1969 and turned his passion into a livelihood where he spent 54 years operating his cabinetry business servicing countless commercial and residential spaces throughout the United States. In his spare time Ken enjoyed a relaxing day of fishing, a good game of golf or spending time with his family and four legged companions Gizzy and Buddy.
On July 9th, 1971 Ken married his wife Patricia Rutherford in Grove City Ohio where they spent an incredible 53 years of marriage together. Through their years of marriage they created an incredible story and expanded their life with their daughter, Patricia Bully and grandchildren William and Dylan Bully. Ken is preceded in death by his parents; Brothers Cletus (Tina) and Clayton (Sue) Rutherford.

Ken’s memory will live on with his loving wife; daughter; grandchildren; brother Richard (Ruby) Rutherford; Sisters Paula Berry, Joyce Littler and Midge (Taylor) Osbourne; Brother and sister-in-law Kelly and Steve D’ippolito and Mike and Connie Cahill along with many beloved nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 beginning at 2 pm with Pastor Jim Blankenship officiating. Visitation time will be held immediately following the service until 5 pm.
