

Michelle Marie Collignon, 57, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away on April 19, 2026. She was born on March 4, 1969, and daughter of Paula and George Johnston. She graduated from Bellaire High School and worked as a pharmacy technician at Mount Carmel West Hospital. Michelle was known for her generosity towards others and her fun personality. She enjoyed scrapbooking, baking, and spending time with those she cared about most. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she found the greatest enjoyment in creating special moments and lasting memories with them. She was often known to say, “At least you will have memories”, after she would do something fun and unique. She cherished her friendships greatly and often would express her deep love and appreciation for her great group of friends. Michelle is survived by her mother Paula Johnston; and siblings Geoffrey Johnston and Robin Helvey; her husband of 35 years, Bill Collignon; her four daughters Anna, Sarah, Abigail, and Grace; and her two grandchildren Aaliyah and Kyleigh Martin. She was preceded in death by her father George Johnston, cousin Lauren Decker and her Aunt Noreen Decker.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2026 at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY, 4242 Hoover Rd., Grove City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. on Monday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3730 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123.
A prayer service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral, 441 37th St, Bellaire, OH 43906. Interment will follow at Belmont Memorial Park, St. Clairsville, Ohio.
We are so grateful for the outpouring of love for Michelle. Many have asked how they can help; in lieu of flowers we’ve set up a small savings fund for her grandchildren’s future education to honor Michelle.
