Nancy Mae Lennex

Nancy Mae Lennex age 82 passed August 21, 2023. Born October 9, 1940 she was a lifelong resident of Columbus. Preceded in death by mother Florence Kralik, sister Mary Stewart and brother Robert Howard. Survived by daughter Kristina (Matt) Colahan, granddog Wilson, cousin Carolyn Brobst, many nieces and nephews and extended family. Thank you to her friends, the Three Musketeers, Karen, Catheline and Nola. I know your friendship meant a lot to her. Matt and I will always be grateful. Thank you to the staff at Meadow Grove for your compassion and kindness. Nancy was a 1959 graduate of Central High School. She proudly worked at the Sears Fashion Center for 34 years, retiring in 2006. Nancy was a fan of Notre Dame and Ohio State (when they were not playing Notre Dame), and also rooted for the Minnesota Vikings. She was one of Josh Groban's biggest fans and was elated to see him in concert. She loved movies and was formidable at movie trivia. Nothing was more important to her than her daughter. Nancy was a single parent that worked tirelessly in a time when there was far less support. She always glowed with pride when speaking of her daughter. She was also a pet lover caring for many dogs and cats over the years, as well as volunteering at the Columbus Humane Society. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., (HOOVER RD AT KINGSTON AVE), Grove City.
