I am very sorry to hear of Nancy passing . Nancy's mom and my mom were the best of friends back in the day. We will sincerely miss Nancy . We are sending our love and prayers to the family .

Margaret (Peggy) Holdren-Carrel

This was my amazing sister Nancy.  We were very close growing up.  We were only 18 month apart.  Mom would dress us like twins when we were little.  We grew up together, went to school together, worked together.  I spent a lot of time at their house.  She was a sister but was like a second mom.  We did all kinds of activities together which I miss.  She was my coffee buddy, scrapbooking buddy,  and sometimes a shopping buddy.  We spent a lot of time together especially when the kids and Don Don and Davina came along.  I am so thankful that she made me an Aunt.  She was my therapist too and sometimes I was hers.  Always opened her home to me offered food and drinks.  She seemed happy a lot.  She will be greatly missed but I know she is in Heaven with our Lord and with my mom & baby hairball.  My love for you will continue into eternity till I am in Heaven with you.  Love your Big Sis Tammy,

In Lieu of flowers, Mom’s wishes were for donations to be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. 
If you knew my mother, you would know how much she cared for any and all children. All are welcome at her service.

For her 50th Birthday,  I took Nancy on her first cruise.  Just us girls. She loved everything about it,  especially this private island.  We snorkeled, swam with the colored fish, fed the stingrays. and we Enjoyed a nice beach BBQ

After a night of dancing, singing and probably too many drinks, we went to our cabin to turn in fur the night.  When we woke up the next day, our cabin was filled with decorations and gifts that read "Congratulations on your marriage" 
I freaked out🤣 
But Nancy was like, "Girl hush! We're getting free stuff" word seemed to spread like wildfire thru the ship-- so we decided what happens in the Caribbean stays in the Caribbean! Every night at dinner the staff would clap and sing and bring each of us a decorated cake to take back to our cabin. We ended up with something like 12 cakes,  champagne with the Carnival logo,  2 bottles wine,  gift cards for a massage, and our wedding photo (shown above) 
We had so much fun!!!

As much as Nancy wouldn't admit it. Her goofy and innocent, inner comedian all comes from her Dad. We were on our way to the formal dinner on the cruise.

The most important people in Nancy's life, were her husband Tim,  her beautiful daughter Tiffany and her son in law Anthony.  As well as Her Grandson, as well as her new Granddaughter (not pictured)  But also her Dad, whom she loved dearly and worried about constantlyand her sisters 
Tammy and Jenny.

I had the pleasure of working with Nancy at Holt Crossing one summer. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed many good stories. I spoke with her to keep in touch and to hopefully cheer her up spiritually. I remember how  much she spoke of her son a drummer he was a good natured young man . I wish this family all the best may the Lord bless you all Amen Geraldpatterson

Nancy was the sweetest, happiest friend we've ever had!! She reminded me so much of her Mom.
Starlene is taking this so hard, and has stayed in her room and cried everyday since we left the hospital. 
We will be praying that each of you find peace in your hearts, Knowing that she is no longer hurting!
Nancy's personality was like the brightest light in the sky! We will miss her forever and always!
I'm always here for you!

Nancy was a great coworker and would listen to stories as she cleaned the rooms at JC Sommer Elementary.  She was very kind always wanting to please the people at school by doing her best.  When she first got her diagnosis and began treatments she would still show up to work and give it her best.  
Nancy will be missed  by many, I can say that she was a great person to be around!
