Richard Keith "Rick" Fickeisen

Richard Keith Fickeisen, 68 of Avon, Indiana passed away Saturday April 23, 2022. He was born on November 10, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Fickeisen of 32 years and his father Richard Fickeisen and mother Gloria Fickeisen. He is survived by the mother that raised him, Rita Fickeisen, his daughters, Amanda (Craig) Hulett of Vilonia, AR., Melissa (Shane) Young of North Little Rock, AR., Kaci Gerard of Avon, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Debbie (Dave) Haegele, Bill (Luann) Heizer, Vickie (Ed) Huey, Lee Ann Heizer, and Clover (Dirk) Prusok, 4 nephews, and 5 nieces. Rick was a devoted Ohio State and Indy 500 fan. He was a proud member of the American Tire Distributors family and considered his coworkers and customers family. His famous quote was “I live for this” and “let’s sell some tires fellas.” His unique personality will never be forgotten. Visitation will be at 12:00 pm Saturday April 30, 2022 at Schoedinger Norris, 4242 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio. Service/Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00 pm. “Light appetizers and refreshments will be provided following the service. Attire open to how Rick knew you best (formal, casual, Buckeye, ATD, etc.)"
