A devoted husband and caregiver, he was a constant and loving presence in her life, especially after her heart attack in 1987. Later, he found companionship with Kathleen, a former classmate, who became his partner for nearly 20 years until her death.
Robert was passionate about sports, especially baseball. He was a skilled catcher and loved coaching Little League, earning the admiration of his players. He was also an avid golfer and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.
Above all, Robert was a devoted family man and cherished his grandsons, Rob and John. His home was always open to friends and family, and his warm heart and humor left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
