Sheila Elam

She was born October 22, 1947 in Grove City, the daughter of the late George William Wolfe and Mary Alice (Washburn) Wolfe. She grew up with her older brother, Michael Wolfe, who precedes her in death.

She attended Grove City High School and became an office worker and homemaker. On December 15, 1986, she married her beloved husband, the late Dr. Neil Elam, DDS of Grove City.

She is survived by their sons, Shawn (Kyley) Elam of Grove City, Tony Parrett of Circleville, Tim (Julie) Parrett of Lancaster, daughters, Amy Parrett of Grove City, and Marie Valentine-Elam (David) of St Louis, MO as well as her 11 grandchildren who will miss their MawMaw dearly.

Sheila had a large family and loved spending time with them, especially her children and grandchildren. She loved going to Hilton Head and creating memories with her family that they would remember for a lifetime. Sheila cherished her neighbors dearly and loved them like a second family. She was the happiest spending time with her family and friends. Her family was her proudest accomplishment.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Norris Grove City, 4242 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio, with a funeral service to begin at 12:00 p.m. noon. Interment will follow at Grove City Cemetery with a reception afterward at the funeral home.
