Sheryl Lynn Thiel

Sheryl Lynn Thiel, age 64 of Grove City passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 30, 2022, surrounded by close friends and family. Sheryl was born in Columbus to the late Buford and Mary (Huss) Moore and was employed by Forward Air as a Contractor Compliance Specialist. She was known for her infectious laugh, vivacious personality, quick wit, great taste in music, and impeccable sense of style. Sheryl enjoyed everything about the summer, especially going to the pool, soaking up the sun, and bragging about her tan. She was a mother to everyone, providing sound advice and a shoulder to lean on. Sheryl was deeply loyal and generous to those she knew and was charitable to those in need. She liked to attend live music events with her family and friends, but most of all she cherished time spent with her children, granddaughter, and great-niece. May her lust for life and kindness be spread by those who knew her as a way to honor her for years to come. Sheryl is survived by her beloved children Dani (Brit) Thiel, Chris (Lindsey) Thiel, and Shawn Thiel; her Best Girl/granddaughter Penny Thiel; brother Tony (Margie) Moore; nieces Lauren (Ryan) Lathem and Jessie (Jack) Nettis; great-nieces Reese and Dylan Lathem; great-niece Louise Nettis, great-nephew Jack Nettis; former husband and dear friend Tom Thiel; and best friend/partner-in-crime Kathy Blevins. Sheryl’s family will receive friends 5-8 PM Monday, May 9 at Schoedinger Grove City 4242 Hoover Rd (Hoover Rd at Kingston Ave).
