Thomas Edward Minton

He graduated from Grove City High School. He enlisted in the Air Force where he was a proud combat veteran of the Vietnam War.

After the Air Force he began work at South-Western City Schools as a mechanic and then became a teacher and career tech coordinator. He retired from South-Western City Schools in 1996. In his retirement he did a variety of jobs, but his favorite was farming in Mercer County Ohio. He loved golf and especially golfing with friends at Hilton Head and at Pinnacle Golf Club.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sherry (Buckloh) Minton. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Christina and Andrew Hutchings of Reynoldsburg, his son and daughter-in-law Andrew and Karen Minton of Dublin, and his grandson Cooper Minton.

Family will receive friends at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., Grove City, OH 43123 on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Swamp College Cemetery, 6496 Karch Rd, Celina, OH 45822.
