

Thomas James "Tom" Wilson, age 68, of Grove City, Ohio met His Savior face to face on Saturday, February 14, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born March 16, 1957 to Robert Thomas "Bob" and Georgialee Wilson, Tom was a Maysville High School graduate who excelled in basketball. He earned his Bachelor of Specialized Studies and a Master of Public Administration from Ohio University.
Tom is survived by his wife of 21 years, Cristy Sisk Wilson; daughters Erica Kristen Wilson of Grove City and Ashley Wilson (Andrew) Eversole of Canal Winchester; mother, Georgialee Wilson of Zanesville; sisters Tamra (Doug) Puffenbarger of Broadway, Virginia and Tracey (Ron) Wofter of Zanesville, Ohio; and two nieces, a nephew, and multiple cousins. He was preceded in death by his father.
Tom's life-long passions included sports and pizza. For decades, he officiated basketball, softball, baseball, and football games. Originally a pizza franchise owner and operator, he and partners opened Pizza Stop and Four Star Pizza stores in multiple states. He owned a mobile wood-fire pizza business called Four Dog Pizza for a few years and even had a 3,000 pound wood-fire pizza oven installed in his backyard so he could feed and fellowship with friends and family. His second career was in state government, where he worked with both the Departments of Health and Public Safety/Bureau of Motor Vehicles. He retired from the BMV in March of 2022 as an Administrator/Field Operations Manager overseeing the state's deputy registrars, the Get in Line Online service, and other key initiatives.
Tom loved to travel internationally with his wife and maintained a competition with his daughters regarding most countries visited. He had a heart for rescue dogs and had two who brought tremendous joy to daily life. He also loved to fish and spent as much time as possible on his bass fishing boat. He took up skeet shooting with his best friend in 2025 and enjoyed helping his daughters with various home-improvement projects. A member of Westerville Bible Church, he was involved with finance and church security ministries.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 10-1pm at Schoedinger Grove City 4242 Hoover Rd. Grove City, OH 43123 where his service will be held at 1 pm with Pastor Dave Smith and Pastor Paul Hamilton, officiating.
